We tried to summarize the most asked questions here and to give you a deeper understanding of our devices.
The patented VCB (Vortex -Ceramic Ball) technology is meant to increase yield for the crop (quality and quantity) without the use of any chemicals but by cluster formation of the water molecules and oxygen enrichment by the 4-pass specially coated vortex and the catalytic effect of the ceramic balls which increase the “activity” of the water thus enabling improved capillary transfer of the available nutrients in water through the root zone area at maximum efficiency. Water activation results in better yield, better-quality crops and a more nutritious, nutrient-dense crop, whether it is grains, fruits, or vegetables, as was proved in multiple field trials worldwide – see examples of results and improved yield, shelf life, water consumption etc. at the end of this document.
The rationale for using our process for farmers:
Mineral-doped ceramic balls also activate and ionize water and generate FIR (Far Infrared) with antibacterial properties.
No special additional equipment besides further described water pretreatment equipment (mainly a micron filter and in cases where the water has a precipitation tendency-hardness, iron, an online vortex precipitator). Our experience has been mostly in greenhouses but also in open-field settings. The patented equipment is simple to use with no moving parts – the farmer needs to plumb it in and let the water flow through it. Also in future systems Internet of things (IOT) based data collection and control is an option as can be seen in the schematics below.
No extra fertilizers to be used, the opposite, our experience shows that fertilizers and other chemicals can be significantly reduced by 50%, and even in some cases no fertilizer was used. Every situation is unique as to the percentage or volume of reduction as stated on average was 50% reduction.
Not sure there would be any challenges as the product(s) are designed for an improved crop and environment which is in effect a win-win solution, with simple installment, operation, and maintenance.
It is pretty much a “no-brainer”, as to the outcome of the product(s) implementation and usage, thus not sure there would be any challenges.
Farmers would see an improvement in the health and appearance of their crops and an increase in yield, with an improvement in nutrient-dense quality (sugar content), not to mention improved flavor and taste. See examples of results and improved yield, shelf life, water consumption etc. at the Field Tests page.
The oxygen is mainly dissolved due to the special counterclockwise spinning of the VORTEX system creating an implosion effect. It is hypothesized that the vortex motion in water impacts water clustering and its properties. Due to the spinning motion of the water flow within the vortex, this action can inactivate bacteria in water and oxygenate the water. The technology does not need any regulation. See technical specifications below.
Not necessary but we have very good results with greenhouses and also open field. The product is effective when installed according to specifications including flow rate and pressure on any type of irrigation or watering application.
Water passing through the device undergoes activation by the spin action produced by the four activation chambers created by the vortex blades which in turn causes the breakdown of the larger water molecules into much smaller ones, causing the water to become more hydrating by changing its surface tension. This process also increases the amount of steady-state dissolved oxygen in the water, which has a significant effect of reducing anaerobic bacteria. Further activation and resonation are produced with contact from the various metals and magnetic clay and mineral composite ceramics. The subject device through its activation of water molecules enhances permeation thus improving nutrient absorption, essentially creating the ultimate water with which living organisms can thrive.
Further on the technology:
In plants, the quadruple spiral vortex flow and the ceramic ores of the subject invention produce more H+ ions that can help preserve and increase internal cellular water. Plant cells will maintain better water in their system, improving cellular function and optimum growth potential. The clustering effect or reduction of space between the water molecules induced by the ceramic ore’s resonant activation not only enhances the ability of organisms to absorb water but also effectively improves the plant’s ability to uptake and utilize nutrients. The plant will transpire (sweat) less, retaining more intracellular water within the plant, allowing for a reduction of irrigation or watering needs by as much as 50% (water conservation). Specifically, the activated water is able to penetrate or permeate through the plant’s cellular membranes more readily, improving the plant’s intracellular water, which allows the plant to uptake nutrients from the soil more efficiently. The plant grows faster and healthier, becoming more disease resistant and less prone to attack by insects. The fruits ripen sooner, producing a higher yield with tastier and healthier fruits that contain more sugar content (Brix Index). Finally, the activation of the water by the VCB device enables intracellular water to remain in the cell with less water evaporation, allowing the produce to stay fresh and moist longer. More hydrogen remains in the cellular water, which means the cells, survive longer as intracellular water doesn’t go bad (anti-oxidation), less shrinkage and prolonged shelf life.
The product is effective when installed to specifications including flow rate and pressure on any type of irrigation or watering application, in both settings.
Virtually no maintenance unless the system is exposed to other elements in the water such as certain types of iron, or suspended solids, or types of algae that can eventually coat the ceramics. In this case, the base of the device can be opened and the ceramics removed for cleaning and/or replacement using a simple protocol with household citric acid present in every household.
Only if the ceramics need to be replaced which would be a rare event.
Mainly micron filter and in cases where the water has a precipitation tendency -hardness, iron, an online vortex precipitator. Any sand or sediment that could eventually fill up the vessel and as stated above the ceramics or vessel could be cleaned if dissolved iron or other such minerals started to deposit or coat the ceramics, as explained above with simple household citric acid. This is the fundamental purpose of a pretreatment device such as a sediment filter.
According to our experience due to the high quality of the stainless steel and ceramic balls, there is no issue of a lifetime. We claim that it can work for 10 years however our experience with systems in the field is that they maintained their activity over and over.
Relatively easy to install with basic knowledge of plumbing fittings together and following all product and design protocols. We have a simple design protocol and engineering support when needed. From our experience, the answer is yes the farmer can install it by themselves.
The global increase in irrigated agriculture demands vast amounts of water. Many countries are approaching or exceeding their water supply limits. Therefore, improving irrigation efficiency is critical for sustainable crop production.
VCB (Vortex-Ceramic Balls) technology is a novel, chemical-free water treatment method that integrates a vortex water flow system with special ceramic balls. This system improves water quality and flow dynamics, leading to better plant development and increased crop yields.
The system integrates into existing irrigation setups. Water first flows through a vortex chamber—enhancing molecular structuring and oxygenation—then passes through ceramic balls, which activate and purify the water before it is used for irrigation.
The ceramic balls are made from oxides like SiO₂, Al₂O₃, ZnO, and Fe₂O₃. These materials:
